Great Mic
I was using my phone mic for the svs eq app and i was not getting good measurements for my dual sb3000 subs . After purchasing the svs mic I couldn't be happier. It worked flawlessly and the measurements were much better. After calibrating the subs using the app, i did a full calibration using Dirac live and i was shocked at how good the results were. I'm not saying you can't get good results with a phone mic, but for me it wasn't a good alternative; plus my phone is old and I'm sure the mic has lint and dirt embedded in it. This microphone is a solid option for your svs subwoofer.

Finally here & Completely smooth…
I’m not even going to speculate on how hard it is to make a mic & app & monster sub & keep
It reasonably priced & shipping & keeping people positive & …… I guess pick your poison. But, this does exactly what they said it would do. Make the sound better. It is a miracle that my crummy shaped room sounds that good. Now I just need to figure out how to get 3 more!!! Thanks guys, great job.

The line is flatter now.
Using this hooked to my iPhone did flatten out the results about 8 %to 10% Over using my phone a lone.
Then I reran my room EQ on my receiver. Thanks to the two new SVS PB3000 R/evolution’s my home theater sounds better then ever. Having friends over tonight for a movie. Rock On. 🎸
