Love the camouflage pattern nice big pockets looks and appears to be well made nice heavy duty zipper. Im six foot three 180 pounds I like a bit more room I got an XL has enough room to have a heavy flannel shirt under it or a wool shirt.. plus it just looks cool wearing it….good job Beckbe

So Good I Bought the Jacket

This vest is wildly impressive. It manages to be exceptionally warm without excessive bulk, and the way that it cuts the wind is truly remarkable. The addition of the removable hood adds versatility, especially when using as a layer with a hoodless jacket. The quality of the materials and the apparent construction of the piece are superb. There are ample pockets, all of which seem thoughtful. The soft moleskin lining in the hand-warmer pockets is a stellar touch, and they really do warm up your hands quickly. I recently took this vest to Alaska as my warmest piece of clothing, and commented multiple times that it is likely the best single piece of clothing I own. I vowed on that trip I would buy the jacket version of the Fowler, and I have sense. The only thing that would improve both the vest and the jacket is being made in America, but the UK is certainly better than most alternatives. I am 5'11", 185 pounds, and have an athletic build. This vest fits flawlessly, allowing for unrestricted movement. The length is cropped almost exactly at belt height, and with the dual zipper, navigating rough terrain (or climbing into a truck) is not a problem.
