Protects coroplast from chewers

I ordered these because my foster guinea pig keeps chewing on the coroplast when he's excited. I got 12 for my 2x4 C and C cage. I found it surprising that the coroplast doesn't come cut in multiples that fit a standard coroplast bottom for these cages, since that's what they're designed for. They're too long - you'll need to cut an edging unit for each of the 4 sides of the cage. I found them very difficult to cut even with a utility blade. It took me 45 minutes to cut through 4 of them. On the plus side, these are clearly very tough and are resistant to chewing. They protect the coroplast, and I don't have to worry about the pig ingesting small pieces of coroplast that may come off when he chews. It also gives the cage a more polished look. Also, I found them easy to pop on once they were cut to the right length. I didn't need a screwdriver or anything to widen the opening.
