Idem Smart Clock

Love it, please make the calendar more robust so that caregivers could flag each other on events and to send alerts when events are added.This would replace all the calendar apps we all have as well. Please add the ability to add an additonal clock into the mix to either mirror the main clock or to be on its own. This would allow the elderly person to see the same message in the bedroom while still in bed as in teh living area.

Doesn't currently meet our needs

The Idem Smart clock has many great features but is currently not meeting our needs. I live in a different state than my mother so the remote management and notification features were the primary reasons I purchased this clock. My need was just to ensure my elderly mother receives a visual reminder to take her one medication before she eats breakfast (with confirmation to me). I do not need her to wake up a specific time in order to do so. The maximum time a (visual) reminder can currently be displayed on the clock is 60 minutes, which means it usually expires and disappears before she wakes up, or does not occur soon enough if set to a later time-of-day. My mother is hard of hearing so audible alarms are hit or miss most days. Currently, she only replies to an active medication reminder about 15% of the time (due to its limited duration). Also, the clock has more limited volume levels that don't work effectively with alarms between rooms, nor for the "read aloud" or video calling features (in our case).

Outstanding Resource for Dementia Patients

This clock combined Pill Dispenser has greatly enhanced my Quality of Life by helping my care giver coordinate my calendar. The Pill Dispenser is indispensable in controlling my daily medications. I would recommend these tools for anyone who is dealing with the dementia.
