I am delighted with the speed and growth of the seeds, but they tend to clump, even after I shake the jar and open the lid to break up the clump. I find the lower mesh diameter quite large for my small hands, and I had to learn how to insert it after washing. Also, the top tends to get too tightly fastened. These are simply "learning curve" aspects. The flow-through ventilation makes a huge difference in the quality and health of the sprouts. I now love this sprouter, even though it was expensive.
