My go to style - however sizing is tricky

I have been wear prima for years but I never know what size is going to work. Sometimes I wear a 28, sometimes 29 and sometimes 30. This particular pair gaps at the waist which is annoying and not normal for me in the style. I also would like to see a better description of the material to gauge how thin/thick it is

Midrise straight leg- they fit like high rise jeans and are too big in the legs. I have consistently gotten size 28 midrise in the past. They just seem different. I took the tags off but have never worn them. I would like to return them. Can you please give me instructions for a return. Thank you very much.

Love the fabric; love the fit.

Nothing feels cheap about these jeans. The fabric is great, the color a dark black, length (finally) long enough, and it fits slim the way I like jeans.
