Titanium Large Always Pan Pro

The finest, most versatile cooking utensil I've ever owned.

Bought this - after researching brands who sell titanium pans - direct from the Your Place website. It arrived on time and looked magnificent; sturdy, reassuringly heavy and well constructed. Since then, I've used it almost daily to make everything from curries to pasta dishes to Shakshouka to steaks. Everything has turned out as hoped and the pan washes completely clean afterwards with minimum effort. A couple of relatives who have used it when staying with me are also impressed enough to order their own. I can recommend this superb pan unreservedly.

Sticks. Hard to clean. Not an even temp across base.

I wanted so much for this pan to be as amazing as claimed. And for the first week it really was - completely non stick and easy to clean. I have followed the instructions to the letter. Sadly, it soon started to stick. Also, food residue started to be impossible to clean from inside each tiny dimple. Bicarb or baking soda, vinegar, hot water - does not work. Eventually Our Place told me to use Bar Keepers Friend - which does work. Still this pan now sticks for meats, eggs, fish (almost impossible to cook without tearing off the skin). I spend more time cleaning this pan than I do cooking in it. Our Place mentioned to me in an email replacing "natural oils" within the titanium - what natural oil is in metal? Is the titanium pre-treated with oils that last just a few days of use? A second significant issue is that I question the conductivity of the base - the hot section is a surprisingly smaller diameter, with the outer edges of the base not getting so hot. Cooking a family portion of meat requires a lot of moving the meats from outer edges to centre and vice versa to get an even cook. Very disappointed. Feeling duped.

The best ever

Titanium Large Always Pan® Pro An 12. 5-inch non-toxic high-performance pan Bought this a few months back. Always used stainless steel pans upgraded last year to a well know heavy ceramic cast iron pan which we love . But this pan is the best I've used in forty years,by far my favorite and go to pan. Only downside to this purchase I now want the whole set. It's also so easy to clean absolute bonus.
