Non-Scratch Eco-Friendly Sponges - Rectangular Loofah

eco-friendly but poor user experience

I was excited about how eco-friendly these sponges are but sadly I don't enjoy using them and will likely end up giving away the rest of my 6-pack. I find these sponges to be too thick compared to regular sponges, which makes them uncomfortable to hold/use (I have average sized hands and have never had this issue before). Also, the loofah material doesn't glide well on dishes even when soapy. It ends up taking a lot more time and careful handling to wash my dishes so I will be looking for another brand of eco-friendly sponges to try out.

Scurbber disintegrated quickly

I had used these sponges before and my wife kept blaming me for cutting the scrubber side with a knife while I was cleaning the knife because there looked to be cuts in it. I was pretty sure that didn't happen, and I ordered more of the sponges because I'm sick of microplastics. Anyway, the latest sponge I've been using completely disintegrated on the scrubber side after not much use. So I'm pretty sure I wasn't cutting the earlier sponge with a knife. Anyway, these sponges aren't cheap, so I was holding they would hold up better to basic cleaning tasks.

They sure are tough!

I have been using the loofah and coconut backed sponges daily for over a month. Still plenty of life left to them! I am a devoted fan from now on.
