Wool linen is great warp yarn!
I’m using wool linen in pressed flowers as the warp on a project with my 4th and 5th graders. They are using their homespun yarn as the weft. It is sturdy, beautiful and flexible enough to adapt to all the different thicknesses of their spinning. The color variations add an extra element of surprise as we go along. Highly recommend.
