BlueChip TPR50 Rounded Triangle Flat Pick

Always wanted to try a Blue Chip pick. Being a mandolinist I first ordered the Chris Thile pick. I knew I wasn’t Chris Thile so I should’ve known better..but really didn’t care for the shape of the pick. After studying the BC catalog of picks I decided on the TPR 50. It did take a little getting used to but I liked it so well I ordered a second just in case. Great pick, great service as usual. Thanks Banjo Ben!

Almost the Right Pick for me

I lovecthecway Blue Chip picks sound and feel but i found the TPR 50 a little small and slightly too thin. I went back to my CT55 and then rounded off the points slightly with sandpaper and fine steel wool to make the shape more like the TPR50. I like it and it was cheaper than buying another Blue Chip pivk to try to find the right one.
