Holes Sweater Pattern

Fun but promo imagery not reflective of the pattern

This was fun to make, but all the tidy modelled samples presented in the marketing imagery are of a different pattern (not available to buy as a pattern but only as a finished sweater). That’s fine, but it’s disingenuous. The knit pattern finishes are a bit scrappier and the holes are less elegantly placed. I thought this meant there were different options within the pattern for finishes but that’s not true. So all in all, I enjoyed the technical side of the knitting and seeing how it came together, but when I realised that it wasn’t like all the stylish modelled holes sweaters I could see on the pattern info, I was disappointed and had to frog my knitting back. I can choose where the holes are placed with a few calculations, and probably can finish them with the contrast in a tidier fashion. But it’s work I didn’t know I’d be needing to do. I think it’s time to replace the modelled photos with shots of the finished pattern you’re selling!

Beautiful and unusual pattern

I love the pattern but the only thing I had some issues with was the hole trim I did a I cord bind off to simulate what I saw on the pictures because otherwise it didn‘t look right to me But overall the pattern was straight forward and easy to follow
