Works very well tight fitting only concern is that the swing arm socket the arm is rubbing against the socket and can stick a bit I tried to wd40 for a quick fix but I'm going to use a better lubricant in the future

I got the Master 2 system without the stone as I have too many already. I splurged for the the upgrade rod and the big clamp and so far so good. I used it to sharpen all the kitchen knives. I have freehanded ain't the 90's so I don't actually need this.. I have actually always seen the normal rod systems as a crutch but this can actually train you to use a bench stone and do this if you don't have access to the system. Most systems make beginners completely reliant on them. Though, It is nice to have to be able to turn my brain off and use this by feel while I watch TV and do stuff like a pile of kitchen knives. My high end stuff will still probably be done by hand. This thing is nice kit. Pick one up and delve into the glorious world of freehand sharpening.

Very easy to use. Works with all my knives. From my tiny UTX-70’s to my kitchen knife. Not really much of a learning curve. Get the top arm level with the bubble and you’re good to go! Will probably get the other style blade holder.
