Works just like I was hoping. It did trigger when I was holding the collar and a dog barked.

you have to be really careful with the settings. i have a pitbull and my mom thought she put it on the lowest setting.. she tried it on her forearm first and it was the lowest setting, she then put it on my dog and it was at the 2nd highest setting.
