I will be returning it, but have a lot to handle currently so haven't had the chance. I phoned DOGTRA immediately when I received it, as I was so very disappointed by how heavy it is. I have a DOGTRA trainer that I've used for over a dozen years, & I love the freedom it gives my 50lb Afghan Hound. The Afghan Hound is an elegant athlete. She doesn't need a heavy weight on that fragile long neck. But this new one is much larger with a heavy strap (strap weight not noted in online specs!). ALSO the way it's pictured doesn't emphasize that loooong antennae! I thought that I saw a spec that it's suitable for even 15lb dogs?! NO way! I will look for some add-on device for tracking and continue to use my current DogTra.

This product is excellent in almost every aspect. The software is easy to install and intuitive to use. We set up the eFence for our dog, and he learned the boundaries in just one day. We live on two acres, and now he roams freely and comes in and out of the house whenever he wants. However, I cannot understand why one basic feature is missing. My dog is a pheasant hunting dog, and he'll be wearing this collar while we're out hunting. I'll have the remote around my neck, but the only way to switch between Tone, Page, and Nick is to pull out my phone, open the app, and change the setting. In the field, that's incredibly cumbersome and defeats the purpose of carrying the remote. This seems completely counterintuitive for a hunting collar. If not for this issue, I would gladly give this collar five stars. The antenna is also a bit long, but a zip tie solved that problem.

Perfect and easy to use and with the app I know EXACTLY where my dog is. I am not a hunter but use this on my 3 acre property that is surrounded by a few hundred other acres. We are surrounded by trees and this set up has zero connectivity issues, even in the woods! Also my 2 year old Boxer will sometimes run after a car on this private road (he thinks they are coming to visit) and will occasionally be a pain to the neighbors dog. One zap was all it took! The next one I just gave him a page (vibrate) and it did the trick too. Awesome tool to have to protect my little buddy.
