Bit Bar Inline Max

Great EDC screwdriver with a much better form and configuration utility than 90% of other EDC options out there. Definitely worth your money, but there's problems you should be aware of. The Bad: The ball detent that holds in bits in is way too weak, or the overall socket is too loose. Bits fall out easily and get stuck in screws, especially if they have even a bit of rust. The inlcuded phillips bits dont fit into any screws. Not sure what's wrong with them but I swapped them for Leatherman bits of the same size and all problems are gone. Because the overall design of this tool is so good, I'll still carry it every day. It just makes it more disappointing that there's key problems with it

I like this better than my bit bar inline because it gives me 7 more bits on board. However, I feela version that uses double sided 1/4" or 4mm micro bits instead of the leatherman proprietary flat bits would be better while allowing for very high quality third party bits like wiha and wear, or even some American made bits. The other issue is a holdover from the bit bar inline is that the other configurations have significantly more play in them than there should be. It may seem like I'm writing a negative review here, but I'm serious about the 4 stars and this is the driver that's with me everyday. I've paired it with the Galvanox bit set until there's a better option.

Bit Bar Inline Max is excellent!!
