I can’t fly fish without finger guards. Mainly because my ability to detect strikes goes way down when line friction against finger reduces my feel for resistence from the fly in the water. They also protect from the abrasion of textured lines. These guards seem to hold up better than Buff guards and are cheaper. Win win!

These are exactly what I was looking for. My finger was getting cut from casting and it was keeping me from fishing. I didn't want to wear a glove. That would be overkill. But these finger sleeves are perfect. So far, I've been using the same one and it's holding up.
