Overbuilt luggage to rack slings

I am using these to stabilize R-40 panniers to the legs of my rack. The tensioning action of the straps seems proportional to the load, and helps snug the luggage in tightly, eliminating most movement. The webbing and buckle are probably way over-rated for this application -- they are not going to break. Protect from heat and road rash, and tie up your loose ends and keep them out of the chain & spokes, duh!
