C6 Rev Rack Shelter Tent Review

I purchased the Shelter Roof Top Tent in July 2025 and have been very impressed so far. The build quality is excellent, the design is thoughtful, and the setup is quick and straightforward. I have mine mounted on a roof rack, and there are a couple of details worth noting for anyone considering the same setup: Pole protection: The pole ends do not come with protective caps. Without them, they could potentially scratch your vehicle’s paint during setup. I recommend purchasing the rubber ends that C6 offers—they’re a worthwhile add-on if you’re mounting to your roof. Mounting system compatibility: C6 offers mounting kits for certain roof racks, but not all. I run a Sherpa rack and had to source my own mounting system. For those in a similar situation, C6 also offers a universal mounting option. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and confident in the durability of this tent. The Shelter is well-built, easy to use, and I look forward to enjoying it for years to come.
