1st gravel bike, solid ride
I’m a fair weather Northeast US Trail bike rider and this bike will get me out riding more. I have a hard tail trail bike that does well in any type of riding I encounter but I was looking for something a little more efficient off the trails. This bike rides and shifts smoothly and handles imperfections in the riding surface well. Out of the box, assembly was fairly simple if you’re familiar with bike maintenance, with the derailleurs needing slightly dialed in. There is still a little front chain rub still in certain gears that I’ll need to adjust, but I’m picky and probably wouldn’t matter to most people (I don’t even know if I’ll adjust further). Looking to use this as a supplement to my trail bike, to use on longer non-trail rides, and hopefully even some bikepacking trips. There are plenty of mounting points on this bike to set up for a wide variety of attachments. I only have one 20 mile ride in but looking forward to many more before the weather turns for the better and I can hit the trails.

Great bike with no funny business
Recently purchased an Inversion X Expert as a holiday gift to myself. I'd been looking to get a new bike with a more modern set of standards and components, and the Expert fit the bill. The wheels even come taped for tubeless, so get some valve stems and sealant and you will be good to go there. I am enjoying the "compact geometry" so far. No toe overlap even with fenders, stable (but not slow) handling, and a comfortable ride are everything you want in a general purpose bike. So far I have fitted 55mm SKS fenders and a Tubus Tara front rack. The 55mm fenders just fit within the fork and gave good coverage of the 40mm tires. The Tara rack was a little more complicated, I needed to use an older style with a triangular mounting tab. I was considering to mount a rear rack as well but there is only one mounting point on the rear dropouts so thy may conflict with the fenders.

My new bikepacking go-to
I received my new Inversion X Expert last week - assembled it that same day. There was a minor issue during shipping (hydraulic brake line got pinched a broken) but Breezer customer support was awesome, and I got it repaired at my LBS. As for the bike itself, you can hardly go wrong with this one - the top-notch drivetrain components, quality wheels and tires, the comfortable geometry and the legendary cromo steel that Breezer uses of the frame make it hard to resist. The number of braze-ons is a favorite feature of mine, too. It's an all-rounder that will be able to handle just about anything you throw at it and carry all of the gear you need for multi-day adventures as well as just commuting to work.
