Wonderful experience flying the Athena. Used A8-3 engines, great flight, parachute deployment, and landing. My 4-year old grandson immediately named the Athena his favorite rocket in our arsenal. Please continue to make more ready-to-fly rockets for us older folks!

Great flight-ready beginner rocket
The Athena is a great rocket if you want something beginner friendly that you can just take out and fly. I got it for my son as a gift after we already built a different kit rocket. We liked the kit, but we wanted something he could fly right after getting it.
The elastic shock cord avoids issues we had with shock cords pulling off the anchor, and itnwent about 200 feet up on A8-3 motors.
My only qualm is that the plastic parachute has a tendency to stick to itself when damp and not fully deploy.
