Could be better, but could be worse

Honestly I wanted to like this thing a lot more than I did, but when my buddy and I used them at Electric Forest this past weekend, they were incredibly unreliable and rarely actually updated our locations when we needed them to. In the Totem app, my phone was often more accurate with my location than my compass was, even in the thicker parts of it, so much so that I just ended up using a combination of the Totem App map and my phone instead of my Totem at all to make my way around. Maybe we're not the brightest and just couldn't figure out the best way to use them, but the last two days we just didn't bring them into the festival grounds at all. If we did get our locations right, even after calibration, it would often show things just straight up in the wrong direction from me when I looked at my map (like showing a waypoint to the West when I know it's to my East, same with locating my other totem that my friend had). Works sometimes, but overall disappointed as it's too much effort to update and figure out how to use just for it to not work for us.

Won't leave without one now.

We used it at EDC Vages and found my boyfriend everytime, we also used ut in Area 15 it still worked but not as good. It seems like the more people who have a totem in an area it works better.

It looks cool, was easy to set up, and WORKS. I was able to navigate towards my husband from 2.3 miles away.
