Beginner Tatreez Kits

Good for beginners, but more instruction needed

Pros: - Beautiful packaging - Lovely design! - Thobe needle minder is soooo cute and a big plus Cons: - Instruction video was quite short (1.5 min). I was left needing to look up instructions on how to finish a piece. - Price :( I don't feel like the contents and minimal instructional materials warrant $50. This is the biggest con. Additional comments: - Would've liked for some extra optional historical information in the portal to round out the course, whether about tatreez in general or the Ramallah design and its motifs - If possible, including Arabic translations in the kit materials would be great since those of us in the diaspora would be able to pass along the linguistic tradition of tatreez as well

Great for a beginner this packaging is put together intentionally with everything you need and the tutorial links it comes with are helpful. I also took an in person workshop put on by Badan collective which was so informative
