Got Rucked
Basic Rucker is not basic. Great quality in material and build that held up in over 50 miles of rucking in just neighborhood walks. Added a water bladder where the basic Rucker has an opening for the hose to pull through for longer rucks. Backpack straps are strong, sturdy and make you develop tough skin to hold up the weight. The weight is snug in the built in pocket and I have never had to adjust it or felt it move as I ruck. Good stuff and if you are a beginner this is a great product to start.

Fit and finish are great, obviously high quality and I expect it will hold up well. I bought the sternum strap, I'm glad I did, and think it should be included even if the price goes up accordingly. I don't love the feel of the pack without it -- the shoulder straps tend to slide too far away from the centerline of my body, making the carry less comfortable. Maybe with some tinkering I could have dialed the fit to fix that, but I just threw on the strap. With the strap, the load disappears for me, which is high praise. On sale for $100 all in with 2 x 10 pound plates this is a no-brainer. If you're looking to try it out for the health benefits but not sure you want to try out for spec ops selection or cosplay as a tactical badass, it's a no-brainer. It just looks like a backpack, and 20-30 lbs is prob all you need if we're being honest with ourselves. I may buy more plates, maybe. I may buy a pack with more load capacity than this pack (30 lbs in plates), doubt it. My use case is hardening the legs for ultra endurance foot races, and 20 to 30 lbs is probably all I need for that. Adding 10 lbs of water and snacks would likely be all I need, even for "shorter" outings. After an hour or two, I start to notice the weight just plenty at this point.

So far, ok.
I've used twice so far, the bag seems sturdy, and well made. I'm a little concerned about the fit. I do the bench press a little to much and my chest is larger than average, so the straps kind of dig into my pecs in an uncomforable way. I'll keep working with the adjustments and see if it improves. I don't know why the sternum strap isn't included with this (I bought one), and it seems like there should be a second pocket to go beyond 30lbs. There's plenty of room.
