Great little on camera mic

I’m using these mics on two Sony FX30s - perfect for capturing audio for scratch tracks and when not doing double system audio recording can be reliably used for edit audio.

Great mic for price but iPhone connection and playback is lacking

So the reason why I have this mic is because the Vmic d3 Pro died on me and Deity couldn’t do anything about it. I'm not gonna lie. It really sucks when you spend a lot of money on a mic and you barely use it and then it just stops using and there's nothing that can be done so they gave me a discount to try this new mini mic. The thing that's a little frustrating is you can't playback your video with audio while it's plugged in. Yep, you heard that right, it sucks in that regard. You have to unplug the mic just to hear the video and the audio that you just did. It's the only mic I've ever experienced this with. I also on DJI and you can hear the playback while the device is plugged in. So I would say this product is good for what it is and it's price but it's lacking in areas.

I bought one of these this summer kind of as a throw away noise mic for BRoll. I just wanted something better that the built in camera mic on my R5C. I’ve been so happy with it that I bought two more. I mainly use it on my R5C while it’s on my gimbal. It’s perfect!!
