Although I am just starting to read this little book by Fr Manelli, F.I., I find myself joyfully drawn to Our Lady in a way I have never felt before. Always kind of skeptical, afraid of being duped or taken-in by some mawkish or overly sentimental rhetoric, I suddenly felt my defenses falling away and my heart opening up. Corny as it may sound, I started feeling that this book was written for me, that there was an intelligence behind the printed words that was actually speaking to me. I am grateful that I was guided to this book, and I am eager to return to my reading and reflection.
