This keyboard is great!
Very nicely put together! I'm finding that I do really like having displays. As you can see in the picture the displays show:
- battery charge
- connection mode: wireless, USB, or disconnected
- words-per-minute
- Bluetooth connection slot - a filled circle indicates the active slot, and an outer ring shows that that slot is connected to a computer
- highest active layer
Having an off switch is a luxury I'm not accustomed to, since when I built my own Corne I soldered the battery leads directly to the controller. There are perks to getting professional assembly!
The Outemu Silent Lemon Tactile switches are quite interesting. I did a bunch of research a while ago looking for very light tactile switches, but I didn't come across them back then. So it's great to be able to try them out now! They have a peak force of 55 gf, and an actuation force of 35 gf. The only tactile switches I can recall having a lower peak force are Ajazz Bananas with a peak force of 50 gf - but they have a higher actuation force at 40 gf.
I'm very impressed by the stick-on tenting feet! They are a much nicer solution than the 3D-printed stands I used previously.
The keyboard came with nicely thorough documentation on the preloaded layout. I happen to have a ZMK configuration that I'm already used to, but it was helpful to reference the source for the preloaded configuration to make sure that I configured the displays correctly.
