I needed a pack of this size, in order to hold my DSLR, macro flash and extra lens in separate padded pouches, plus extra clothing. To enable easy access to it all, I prefer the clamshell type opening, so this pack fits the bill almost perfectly. The shoulder straps are wide and firm, so enable the carrying of weight in comfort, once they broke in and formed themselves to my shape. external side pockets but molle pouches can be fitted to serve that purpose. The front pockets are roomy and as I don't use a hydration system, that pocket is also available for flatter, flexible items. There are a couple of features I would have paid extra to have been included, those being load adjustment straps on the harness and a couple of D rings on the front of the shoulder harness, for attaching things like a GPS and camera small camera pouch, but for the price, this is a robust and well featured pack, which will hopefully las many years.

More than enough pockets for everything i carry for work and still plenty of space for other things i carry so all in all an excellent backpack and i love the two extra pockets for me to carry my cans off drink five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
