The hat is beautiful but if you have to adjust the size for a smaller head the there is nowhere for the excess strap to go. This creates somewhat of a tail off to the side in back. It makes it look similar to 38” waist jeans held tight with a belt on a 29” waist. Well made hats are equipped with a slot for the excess strap.
