Disappointing
I really hoped this rope would help prevent kinks, but after cutting it to my size and trying both handle lengths, it felt heavy, twisted while jumping, and handled awkwardly. When I contacted Velites, they would only help if I sent a video proving the “defective”issue, which wasn’t practical and seemed kind of silly. Since the rope has to be uncut to return (kind of unpractical since you can’t try a rope without cutting it to height) I was left with no options. This was surprising and disappointing because I’ve always loved Velites’ grips and apparel, and my husband and I even supported their crowdfunded backpack. I’ve always rooted for the company, so this experience stung a bit. I’ve always loved Velites products, so this was especially disappointing. The Cyclone just didn’t perform as expected, and the support wasn’t what I hoped for.
