Well worth the price

This hook knife has been fantastic for the last month or so. Keeps an edge beautifully and strops easily. I can’t say that I’m the biggest fan of how wide and long the handle is, but it hasn’t caused an issue while carving.

I bought all three hook knives....

... the small, the large, and the shallow. (I wasn't sure what spoons I was going to be carving so I got all three.) I am new to spoon carving and had been using a generic, mass produced hook knife. When I say there is no comparison, I mean it. These things are amazing - they raised the quality of my work several fold. They cut cleaner and more controlled. The O1 steal takes a great edge and holds it. The quality of the craftsmanship is top notch. I can't say enough good things about them.

Deep wood spoon knives

I love my hook knife from Deep Woods, it was extremely sharp when I received it and love the way it works, so much that I ordered the twca knife too! My straight knife is also very well made and extremely sharp! Can’t wait to see what all I can carve with them!!
