Atari Flashback 12 Gold Console

Great concept if the controllers worked correctly

Played 1 time since we had it. The controllers are very laggy making game play impossible and no fun at all.

This console is a fantastic way to dive back into classic Atari gems and indulge in some well-deserved nostalgia. The preloaded game selection is excellent, featuring some great titles from the Atari 2600 era. The ability to load additional games made this an easy purchase for me—having instant access to so many classics without the hassle of tracking down individual cartridges is a game-changer. The plug-and-play convenience is definitely the biggest selling point. Everything has worked flawlessly for me, including the controllers and firmware updates. I’ve had zero issues, and the overall experience has been nothing short of great. If you're looking for a fun and hassle-free way to relive the golden age of Atari, this little unit is a must-have. I’m really glad I picked one up!

Best Way To Experience Atari 2600

I am a big fan of the Atari Flashback series and this is the best of the bunch. Loaded with over 100 great Atari 2600 titles and the ability to sideload all of them and integrate those games into the menu system is a game changer, literally. The paddles are well made and have authentic feel esp after the firmware update. The Joysticks look like real Atari 2600 joysticks from the past, with the controller one have additionally functions to allow to change games and options easily, while the joysticks are not as stiff as the stock controllers from say the Atari 2600+ they work well. As an owner of the Atari 2600+, Atari VCS, the modern one and an original 2600 with alot of cartilages, this is the easiest way to get back into the 2600. I do love my 2600+ but it comes with only a few games, going out and buying just the over 100 games on the flashback would be a hassle and costly, add in that I side load all of them, its a no brainer and I find myself using the Flashback 12 Gold more than the other consoles I own, I used it to play every single released Atari Title A to Z in a week!
