Doesn't stay on the lamp during actual mounting of the phone. Seems like it should click on, not just loosely slide into place. Works fine to avoid the buttons, just pretty clunky.

Great little fix
The Google Pixel 8 Pro's button positioning doesn't exactly align with the Canvas phone grip, so the Canvas folk created this little workaround that slips over the grip and leaves room for the phone's side buttons to remain untouched...allowing the camera to work its magic. Well done, Canvas...and thank you for the fix!

Perfect for my Pixel 7 with case
My pixel 7 can kinda squeeze into the standard size clamp, but I always had issues with the volume buttons being pressed. So I looked into getting the XL button guard and clamp and wow, it's a game changer. I am happy I went ahead and got it.
