Too narrow

I ordered the Maude shoe in size 10. It arrived and is a beautiful shoe, but I was disappointed to discover that it is an incredibly narrow shoe! I wish the description mentioned how narrow that shoe is, not even medium width.

Style is great; fit is a little off

I wear between a 10. 5/11 in US women's sizes. Sometimes 11's are too big because my feet are somewhat narrow, and sometimes shoes in this size range stop too short because my toes are longer. At my age now, I do not sacrifice the integrity of my feet for any shoes. The color wave and style of these shoes are fun, but ultimately the shoe was uncomfortable for me in the toe area--this was a heavily debated return. The overall shoe fit is comfortable. I think the front of the shoes are wide enough to accommodate wider feet, but I have longer toes that I feel were fighting with the front of this shoe. I think the material may also play a role because the leather version of these felt a half size too small, whereas these fit, but I didn't like the lack of space at the front (think if your feet swell after wearing for a few hours your toes would be running into the top). If I went a size up to a 12, they would have been far too big. I think ultimately, this came down to foot mechanics and they just didn't work for me. Give them a try in your normal size, and I say if you're in between sizes, size the half size up.
