Patio Pride Snap Pea

Tough

I experienced two problems with the Patio Pride Snap Pea. The first was bad germination. I tried twice and got about 40% germination both times. The bigger issue was how tough these peas were. I tried eating at different stages and the pods were always fibrous, like a shelling pea. Planted a few other kinds that were great so I'll avoid this one in the future.

Hopeful

The seeds sprouted but the damn chipmunks kept getting into the container and uprooting them. Need to figure out how to keep those pesky critters out of my containers.

I just bought the seeds, not sure if I could plant them in September or not.
