I used the bit set for making a few signs with ColorCore and they performed great.

I’ve been extremely impressed with CICs O’Flute Bits. The overall quality and performance have been outstanding, clean cuts, consistent results, and they handle even more detailed work better than I expected. The edge quality I’m getting has noticeably improved compared to other bits I’ve used, especially on finer designs. What really stood out, though, was the support. When I was having trouble dialing in the 1/16” bit, I reached out and Slim Mab took the time to walk me through proper feeds and speeds. His advice was spot-on, and once I applied his recommendations, everything started cutting perfectly. That level of customer support makes a big difference. Between the product quality and the hands-on help, I’d absolutely recommend CICs O’Flute bits to anyone looking to step up their CNC work.

I bought the CIC 3-pack O’Flute bit set (1/4", 1/8", and 1/16") and overall it’s been a solid addition to my CNC tooling. I haven’t had a chance to run the 1/4" yet, but the 1/8" has been excellent. Using CIC’s recommended settings for HDPE, it cuts cleanly, evacuates chips well, and has been completely reliable with no surprises. It’s become my go-to for that material size range. The 1/16" bit is where I’ve struggled. I’ve spent a good amount of time dialing in feeds and speeds on HDPE and tried multiple passes across different setups. I can get it close to proper chip ejection, but never quite to the point where it consistently clears material cleanly. The result is frequent fiber pull-out, and the cleanup afterward ends up taking longer than it should for the parts I’m making. In short, the 1/8" bit performs great, the 1/4" still to be tested, and the 1/16" has been difficult to get dialed in for clean HDPE cutting.
