I've been timber framing for 20 years. These are the best chisels I've found to date. I have 12 of them. If you're looking for framing chisels, these are the best option.

The quality is high as expected. My only improvement was that I moved the hoop up closer toward the end of the handle. It was so close when it arrived, that there literally wasn't enough room for my hand between the top of the chisel and the hoop to grasp the wood of the handle.
