Hippo Hands

ALASKAN WEATHER PROTECTION

I ordered the Hippo Hands ahead of my ride from San Diego to Alaska. Temperatures below the mid 40's will leave my hands cold no matter how hot the heated hand grips are. I tried some Chinese knock-offs but they did not fit my Guzzi V85TT; they completely covered the electric controls. The Hippo hands were easy to install and kept my hands warm and dry through low temperatures and rain storms. The Hippo Hands are easily removed. Once I crossed the border into eastern Washington state I pulled them off and stowed them in my luggage. My only negative is that the turn signal button was a bit tight to get to for left hand turns.

Riding season extenders

I installed it on my Aprilia Touareg over the Hepco Becker guards. Fitting perfectly and allows me to see my control switches while providing protection from rain, wind etc.

Couldn’t wait to slap those on my GS 1250 on a cold Wisconsin day this November. Unbelievably easy to attach to my bars and the Velcro holds them solid. No wind sheer or wobble at high speeds (high 90’s) on a windy day. Was able to turn off heated grips on a cloudy 42° day. A 100% confident that on a 15° day, with grips heated, that I’ll be comfortable. Rode all last winter in all temps and cold hands always ended rides. Super pleased with my purchase. Totally recommend these !!
