These 12R’s are perfect. This is my 5th pair & my favorite. Great craftsmanship & Frye’s last a long time.

Love the Engineer boots

I wore my shorter Engineer boots into the ground. Then my cobbler closed up shop. So, I figured it was time for a new pair for winter since resoling would be trickier locally. I couldn’t get the shorter one so I went for the 12R. And even though I am older now the same size I ordered before still fit perfectly. It’s been a tough year and there is some comfort in having some new Frye’s to wear around.

These have been the most crucial and versatile shoes in my wardrobe for about 15 years now. My first pair are a bit wrecked (but still wearable!), so I had to finally get a new pair for when I need to look a little more "presentable". Looking forward to taking both pairs into the next phase of my life!
