The Second Dumas

I already own the mint green GMT version, but I love how solidly built these watches are. The bracelet especially is sharp and weighty. Fine engineering is evident all over, so the purchase of a second white dial was a bit of a no brainer after having owned the GMT for a couple of years. It's so incredibly crisp I've nicknamed it the Persil, cos the white is so very very white. Time wise, it's keeping incredibly good time. I have a number of NH34/35 watches, which are just relentlessly accurate. Another satisfying purchase.

A Solid Watch

The Dumas is really solid watch for what they're going for, and if you're fortunate enough to get it on sale, even better! So at 44mm wide, 15mm thick, 22mm lug width, it's a chunky watch, and a hefty one at that. But because of its 48mm lug to lug, and octagonal case shape, it feels and wears a bit smaller than its dimensions suggest. It wears pretty comfortably on my 7.25 inch wrist. I won't bother going into the rest of the dimensions, as they can be found on the Spinnaker website. The regatta white dial has this super clean look, and the use of blue and red accents the watch's sporty soul, and living up to its nautical spirit. The bracelet itself is pretty solid, and easy to adjust. A minor complaint, but I wish the fold over security were a bit more solid. Add everything together, the Dumas is a very solid watch, capable of keeping up with daily life. Totally worth it.
