HWK Motorcycle Pants

These replaced a several years old pair of the same riding pants that were still functional, but the velcro was wearing out and some zipper tabs had broken off. The new item was 36-38" waist and 36" inseam(XL). It was roughly the same size as the old (L) item, so yeah, order a size larger than usual. The new pants have stiffer material at the ankle opening so the zipper doesn't get stuck, and there is a grippy material panel in the seat. These are welcome improvements over the older item. Otherwise, these are mostly the same design. Also, these are for relaxed casual riding. If you ride aggressively and fall down every so often, like I did in my youth, these will protect better than street clothes, but not like a more robust textile or leather option. I replaced all the included armor padding with some sturdier old CE rated items I had laying around. I normally only ride in dry coolish to warm weather meandering through country back roads on day trips. These seem like good bang for the buck for my relaxed rides in light traffic areas. I would buy again.
