More Than Just Pockets: Organizing a Trip with Briggs and Riley
After years of relying on my trusty Swiss Gear backpack, I finally decided to upgrade to a B&R backpack, and I am absolutely loving it. While Swiss Gear was fantastic for functional, everyday abuse, moving to Briggs & Riley feels like stepping from a reliable sedan into a luxury car.

This is an excellent backpack. It is the right size for my purposes and maintains a professional look. The large number of pockets serves as a boon rather than fewer, deeper pockets that are hard to find items in. It is well structured and I am hopeful that the structure of the bag holds up over time. The only drawback is the number of metal zippers which are both a little slippery as well as make quite a bit of noise when hauling the bag around--it is a little symphony of clacking. That said, the trade-off for more professional looking accents does make some sense and the clacking is inaudible when walking outside on my commute.
