Between Republics

Sometimes even when kids read well it's hard to find them the material that captures their attention. These magazines have completely captured the attention of my soon-to-be 8 year old and we look forward to them every time. They have also helped me brush up on my history knowledge!

I bought these as gift to the family who lived across the street to me when I moved away. The kids get the hard copies, and I've been perusing the digital copies. The mother said the kids love the books, and that she appreciates them receiving them. As an educator, I like that the books encourage reading through fact-based history, and in a more fun, graphic novel sort of way. I plan on keeping their subscription going as long as I can afford it and as long as "Mom" says it's ok and welcome!!

We purchased a subscription for our son and we have LOVED sitting down to read these with him. He loves reading the greeting letter, and learning about the important people. What an awesome way to support his interest in history. The magazines are such high quality, and the material inside is all age appropriate for young readers, but also super interesting for all ages.
