Camino side shields
Side shields reduce bright light coming in from the side fairly well. The right side let in more than left. To get even protection from both sides the leash must be tightened to hold glasses very firmly to face.
Overall glasses look good and do a good job-especially for their modest cost.

Very good first impression.
It's too early for me to review those glasses, as I haven't worn them at sea yet.
I bought them after 14 years of good service and 1000s miles offshore sailing with my previous pair of Julbo (the Race model, photo). The Camino seems to share the same base qualities - lightweight, not too big, well fitted to my skull, well designed. Won't fall off (the Race too came with a strap, that I never had to use). The Camino have less "moving parts" that the Race, I expect this simplicity to be an advantage.
2 things :
- It would be nice to show us how to remove the lateral shields.
- I fear that the screws (the branches pivot) are not stainless steel ? If so, they will rust and that becomes a problem (probably a marginal use case, though).

Love These Sunglasses
My second pair of Caminos after losing the first. These are great sunglasses!
