Purchased my second pair of Ultimate

I bought my Julbo Ultimate for trail running and cycling. I love how they can adjust to the variable and harsh lighting conditions. Unfortunately, my first pair didn't survive a stumble during a trail race, so I purchased a replacement pair. You can see them intact in my right hand just before impact.

Great sunglasses so far

Fit well. Great visibility in low and bright light - seem to change shade quickly. Have only run with them so far, but will be backpacking soon and plan on MTB and road biking. Versatile. Main issue I have is the nose piece and hinges on side get in the FOV slightly.

Final had to retire my old Ultimate's that I've had for like 7 years. The new ones are even better. Unobstructed view, crisp clear lenses for my face great. I use these primarily for mountain bike woods riding and racing. We have a lot of tree cover here in the northeast and I'm constantly in and out of changing light conditions. The reactive lenses work great for these conditions. I have also started using them on my gravel and road rides too and they work great. I know a piece of gear is great if you put it on and completely forget you are wearing it because it works so good. That's the Ultimate's. Hopefully they last as long as my previous pair.
