LongHaul Waterproof Roper Composite Toe Work Boot

I own several pairs of Tecovas boots, as does my family, and I’ve always been a fan of the brand. I personally own the Knox and absolutely love them, which is why I had high expectations when I purchased the Long Haul as a work boot with a safety toe. I chose them specifically because of the similar sole design. Unfortunately, the Long Haul has been a major disappointment. I am 55 years old and have worn boots my entire life, and these are quite possibly the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever owned. I’ve worn them daily for a couple of weeks hoping they would break in, but they never improved. To make matters worse, after barely bumping the toe, the leather split wide open. That kind of failure is unacceptable in a work boot, especially one marketed for durability and safety. Given my prior positive experiences with the brand, this was extremely disappointing.

I ordered my normal size as it said to in the size guide. They came on time and everythin but were big. I ended up going to a local store and the customer service was top notch. I end up having to size down to a 7.5-EE. They take around 5 days to break in and start to feel comfortable. I would say a solid purchase, just have to see how long they last.
