overpriced for what it is

The good: battery life is good enough to go all day It does cut out sharp loud noises into a dull thump The Bad: The foam tips don't seal well and are constantly working their way out which then makes the non active noise reduction significantly less effective. The only reason the earbuds don't fall off is the hooks on the ears. The Aware feature picks up air movement better than anything else. If you can't hear the person over the other amplified noise, it doesn't work. The battery/electronics/control modules are positioned to were they kinda sit on the shoulders, kinda don't so every movement of the head makes the weight on the cord shift or pushes the cord up into your ear. The controls are comparatively awkward and difficult to find which is weird because they are larger than most. The side buttons were easier, I think they are volume, but I didn't need to use them much. I wear earbuds and over the ear hearing protection all day every day. This definitely can't replace that combo for hearing protection. I was hoping for something that might let me hear other people over background noise and hearing protection, but it amplifies the background noise too. I tried wearing them under over the ear hearing protection and they actually worked better, but the ear hooks don't place nice with the over the ear hearing protection. Overall, they're ok, really not worth the asking price though.
