Hi Gary - Thanks for your personal note. It means a lot to me. I am renovating a home and upgrading my "Listening Room". I was shopping for an SVS subwoofer and your SVS Evolution Elevation speakers were recommended for L & R rear and side surround speakers. I loved the look and reviews so bought 4! I even upgreaded to the Ultra!Subwoofer is next. I want to get everything set up with what I have and then try to determine what subwoofer is best for my room. I'm intrigued by the 8" Mini but understand the larger 12" may go a longer way. My front speakers are Zu Omen Dirty Weekend with a Paradigm center channel. Never can tell I may go with SVS all around! I missed out on the 5% discount as i could not commit to a sub without trying out the Elevations. Thanks for listening to me. Scott Becque

Fantastic sound from all around

I have been looking for a surround speaker system that will work in my operating room and with the Ultra Elevation I get excellent sound compared to the small speaker system I had before. Energy brand small speakers were just too recessed in the midrange and upper bass. I'm happy to say the Ultra Elevation give excellent clarity and wonderful sound throughout this range. Male vocals and bass guitar and drums are particularly clear. I've also noticed that these speakers don't seem to have a weakness and sound great with EDM to acoustic or vocal music. I've paired with an SVS Micro 3000 which is a great pairing for my application. They also don't seem too difficult to drive as I'm using a cheaper Sony AVR in stereo X2 and the subwoofer, streaming with a Wiim Pro. I'm sure my equipment is holding me back a bit, but I love these speakers!
