The tongue of the shoe folds up when putting the shoe on. This whole problem is caused by the sewing at the base of the tongue being too narrow. If it was sewed about 1/2 an inch wide on each side, it would prevent the tongue from folding in each time you put the shoe on. This is the only pair of shoes I've ever worn that has such a simple and annoying issue. I spent about half an hour hand-sewing the base of the tongue so it wouldn't do that. The shoe is okay otherwise. It lacks lateral heel and midfoot support so your foot twists inside the shoe when you step forward. This would be probably be fixed with a stiffer heel cup that goes around the entire heel, possibly extending into the medial mid-foot.

My first pair of barefoot shoes. I am normally shoeless most of the time, so I have pretty wide, muscular feet. These press on my pinkie toe a bit so I wish there was more room to move there, but over all these seem pretty solid at this price point. I've put over 10 miles on them already in the back woods, going through puddles and over rocks with no problem.

This pair of walking shoes are very comfortable. I normally wear trail runners when playing volleyball on grass and this model holds well even with a fairly flat and smooth outer sole; no slippage! It perfect for my outdoor sports.
