Fat Ferro Rod

I've never lit a fire using flint before, but it was easy. I used a Vaseline soaked cotton ball and the spark set it afire on the second stroke. Very easy to use. Love it.

All of your products have been awesome so far. Glad to be your true survivalists we hope we never need them but it's great to have them if we do. Now I have to figure out how to carry it all. Haha. Thank you guys and keep sending the goodies.

I include the Fat Ferro Rod in a bin that I give to relatives and friends that is a supplement to a GHS (Get Home Safe) kit that I supplied previously. This supplement includes wool blankets, military ECS (Extreme Cold Weather) sleep system, water filtration, a tire inflator, several ways to make a fire, etc. and fits in a bin that can be put in the trunk of a car if you must bug out quickly. Several other Lone Survivalist items are included in the bin. JJD
