So when I came across a black bottle of Heraclea labeled “Mature Harvest,” I was skeptical about how it would taste. To my surprise, it turned out to be one of the finest olive oils I’ve ever experienced. As an olive oil enthusiast, I’ve tried numerous NYIOOC award winners from Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Spain, Italy, and Tunisia — yet I can confidently say that Heraclea’s quality, balance, and freshness surpass many of them. It has an exceptionally rich character with remarkable depth and elegance that truly stands out.

The flavor is so crisp and robust. A great value for the quality. I love that they are fair trade, which is unheard of in the olive oil industry.
